What it's all about
One day, Kyle was bored. He thought, "Why
don't I make a Yarn Ball." So the Yarn Ball was born on the first day of

The long term goal of the Yarn
Ball is to obtain an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Until then, the only goal is to make it larger.

Interesting Facts about the
Yarn Ball
It is a near perfect sphere.
Its exterior color changes
foudroyantly.
If it was dropped from a plane, at an
altitude of 29,784 feet, and it landed on someone's head, that person would cease to exhibit
characteristics of life, including evolving.
It is good.
Some of its uses include a
paperweight, chair, soccer ball, and a weight-lifting weight.
It is not endorsed by Nike.
It is the official yarn ball of the 2000
Sydney Olympic Games.
Every piece of yarn is tied to the end
of the previous piece.
If it was unwound and stretched in a
straight line, it would cover a distance of over 20 miles.
It is 100% yarn. It has a
core of pure yarn.
Funding
As you can imagine, creating such a large Yarn Ball is
quite an expensive endeavour. Due to the need to fund this project, the
"Yarn Ball Team" was formed. The "Yarn Ball Team" is a group of people
who collect money to help ease the financial burden of the yarn ball. So
far, the efforts to collect money and yarn donations have been successful.
We have collected money in the following ways: door-to-door soliciting,
donations from classmates, donations from teachers, donations from family
members, donations from friends, donations from web page visitors.
